My parents want me to stay
But there’s no way I’m going back to Aiken High for ANOTHER senior year with the same teachers and fucking stupid asshole kids and douchebags with boat shoes.
I’m staying in school and getting my diploma, so what if I’m in another state?!

I’ve come to realize that maybe Keelan’s parents were right.
My mom’s emotional and financial troubles are not my fault, no matter if it seems like they are. She is the adult, and my trying to be the adult has backfired completely.
I lost sight of being a teenager and doing what KIDS do, instead of being an adult, and I’ve let myself get so far behind on everything...
